Building Bridges of Integration for Traditional Chinese Medicine gathers some of the most respected scholars, teachers, practitioners, authors, and institutions to exchange research, knowledge, and experience in all areas of TCM: prevention, treatment, research, philosophy, theory, and integration with Western modalities.

Diplomate, American Board of Internal Medicine, Clinical Specialist, UCLA Center for East-West Medicine, Staff Physician and Clinical Instructor, David Geffen School of Medicine, University of California at Los Angeles, Los Angeles, CA

Dr. Taw received his BS and MD from the Joint Biomedical Sciences program at University of California, Riverside, and the UCLA School of Medicine. He completed his residency in internal medicine at the UCLA-San Fernando Valley Program and is board-certified. Dr. Taw completed a fellowship in Integrative East-West Medicine at the Center and is a staff physician and clinical instructor in the UCLA department of medicine. His interests include the use of integrative East-West medicine to treat functional/pain syndromes; disorders of the ears, nose and throat; and skin disorders.
